NC Oyster Festival Surf Contest
The 31st Annual North Carolina Oyster Festival Oyster Fest Surf Off was held at Ocean Isle Beach, on September 10th
and 11th, 2011.
Presented by Salty's Surf Shop, Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, ESA (Eastern Surfing Association) and Sharky's. There was a banquet Saturday night held at Sharky’s and was sponsored by Landshark and Margaritaville with live music from Bailout. There were trophies and prizes for the finalists. In addition, there was a guppy division and ESA Members, received Points!
There were over 135 contestants! Due to the popularity of this event the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, Salty’s Surf Shop and the ESA are thrilled to continue this event on a yearly basis in conjunction with the NC Oyster Festival.
