The 2nd Annual Oyster Festival tennis tournament was held at the 8 court Ocean Isle Beach Park in Brunswick County on September 16-18, 2011. The event was hosted by the Brunswick County Tennis Association, the Brunswick County Chamber of Commerce, and the Brunswick County Parks & Recreation Department. The participants and viewers enjoyed a fall weekend at the beach while playing tennis-the courts they are located midway between Ocean Isle Beach and Sunset Beach. This was an adult tournament, and results count toward NTRP ranking results in North Carolina.

The tournament's lead sponsor was Sunset Properties. Besides sponsoring the tournament, they
offered players a great deal: they reduced the cost of a beach rental by your tournament entry fee
for a weekend stay.

The 2nd NC Oyster Festival Tennis Tournament proved to be successful
two years in a row and look forward to another year.
